New year!

Hey another year has gone by. I cannot believe life has been sooooo busy that no one has talked on our site. We will make up for it.
Catchup: Gretchen is thriving with her ears now that all that ear surgery is done. In a couple of weeks she will have a hearing test to see how well her hearing has improved since Thanksgiving. Cross your fingers. Basketball has slowly started for her...not so competitve like she likes but she is handling a ball. Softball signups have started also. Looking forward to that!! She starts competing for her dance team in February. Looking forward to that whole parade too. School is still way easy and boringgg as she says. We look forward to not hearing that soon too. The weather here is defintely different..... no snow or ice or freezy temperatures . Like today ( jan. 5th) is 77 degrees. Way nuts!!

Kayla on the other hand has been busy with choir during the holidays, horse riding and galloping, dancing with friends, and studying hard for upcoming finals. She is starting to think about her freshman year and what she is going to do activity wise plus her academic structure. She still wants to be a teacher in elementary but who knows how that will work out.

Stephanie is continuing her snare and percussion season at Keller. She starts her new band on Monday with different trash cans and drum pieces. Called stomp. She is changing her teacher so she'll make a different part in band this upcoming season. School is eeh. Lots of kids fooling around in class for distractions etc.. She is still hoping to go to BYU Idaho and maybe finish here in Texas for her vet. degree,if we as a family are still here IN TEXAS. Yes...we are thinking college now. Ugh. ANybody know Guido so I can get some money FAST!!!???? friends are slim still but has 2-3 good ones to count on once in awhile. Her 16th birthday came and went. Spent it with 2 close friends here and then in Ind. a couple came over to where we were staying. Got lots of fun stuff and necessary stuff too. She applied to 3 places for a job this weekend... will see how that pans out.

Susan is looking seriously for a job. Not only does she has several part time ones that don't pay but also looking for big one. Now looking forward to projects again since we stopped in November. Painting 3 bathrooms and doing trim in several places are just a few things that will happen. Next will be reorganizing all that nasty paperwork!!! Ick!!

Mike is a very busy worker bee at his plant. Lots going on.... travelling again next month. His list of to do's is neverending!!! Just looks forward to sleeping in on the weekend. Other than that...getting healthy is his goal and priority!!

Maybe the pictures of our happenings will happpen this month. Don't hold your breath!!

Smile...we love you!!!
